would you be saying the same thing, if the cops let the guy go, and he ran into a family crossing the street and killed them all? this issue like many others is a double sided sword, neither side was right, end of story.

but the motorcycle didn't slam into anyone or kill and injure anyone. the cop did.

What if Hitler went to art school, what if JFK wasn't assasinated, what if the rider didn't try to evade police, what if..... Personal responsibilty is a trate that seems to be lost in todays society. Being the ultra-litigious society we are now, we can sue for anything and everything and sometimes are quick to make accusations just to get a resolution sooner.

Am I condoning what the cop did ,no. Am I condoning what the rider did, no. Do I feel that the people who died were wronged in ways I can't even discribe, yes. Does the cop have a responsibility to serve and protect the general public, yes, and was he trying to do that, most likly yes.
