I need to add Velcro patches to a set of pants for knee pucks. I tried Vanson but they won't do it because it not theirs. The internet is not being very helpful as to where I can find/purchase Velcro for such a purpose. So....
1.) Where does one find patches of Velcro?
2.) Any suggestions on a good seamstress?
I get offended by people who cry they've been offended
You can go into a fabric or arts and crafts store to get velcro.
I know a good leather lady but she is up here in Vermont.

I've tried a lot of fabric stores i.e Michaels, etc. No luck.

Your going to want to find a good cobler, not seamstress to work on leather. They should be able to come up with the velcro.
ahh yes, I've had "good leather ladies" too. does your wife know about her?Originally posted by Doc

I had some stick on velco patches that outlasted the pants and 4 pairs of pucks. Bought in England though. It may cost less to get these shipped to you instead of paying to have patches sewn in with added bonus of not weakening the leather
Had a search around and found the patches I used
HERE
The 9.99 pounds works out to about $18 at the moment, with shipping I cant see it being more than $30 total.
They also have VERY nice titanium shelled sliders (pucks), they scare the crap outta people following you with the amount of sparks they give off
If you pick up the velcro patches from New Enough my girl will sew them on for you. I'll find out how much she wants. She has the sewing machine to do it, she does alot of this stuff as her business. P.M. me i'll give you my #.Originally posted by ChicknStripEatr

If you get a few guys together you can probably just lift it up.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
