Scotts steering damper?

I have a chance to get a Scotts Damper
at a good price,
but its for an 03 600RR, I have an 05.

Isn't the way Scotts are made that the main
part is interchangable and you only need the
mounting hardware specific for you bike?

therefore I can still buy it and then get the
hardware later?

well I answered my own question...

its not a good deal, mounting hardware is
$129 and the damper is $350.

Ya thats a pretty crappy deal considering you can get the entire package for about 400 from most retailers.

The nice thing is you can change it between bikes pretty easily providing you already have the mounting hardware on it.

I suggest getting one, but not at $480...
