As a somewhat stupid aside to these pics, I spent most of the day trying to keep up with the pictured "pack o gits" (notice my R1 at that back of that pack).
Just before everybody stopped at the place where the above pics were taken, I was about 1/2 mile behind. There was a big, long, straight valley, so I twisted the R1 for all it was worth, to an indicated 157, hoping to maybe catch up. Then, I came around the corner behind Mick in the first pic only to fly up on a bunch of stopped bikes. I flew past them and had to turn around. I felt real stupid.
It was embarrasing.
