Miles on a SPORT bike.

Ok, whats the most number of miles you have done in one day on your sport bike (gsxr,cbr,r1 type of bike) not sport tourers and adventures. I did 425 today and it hurts, thats my new limit.

Burlington, VT to Bangor Maine, only stopped for gas on a 1992 750ss Only 295 miles.

My first ever "sport" ride back in 1999 was the spring MotoMarket open house. On a 1998 R1, 520 miles in one day.
400-450 miles a day was an average day in the 1999-2001 range for me.
Did 320+/- last weekend on my 09 R1 and felt pretty good at the end of the day

400+ on my '05 600RR and I was in agony. Between the plank of a seat and the long reach down to the bars (I'm 6' 1'') it was all I could take in one day.

Lawrence, MA to Charlottesville, VA: 673 miles in one day. I did that several times on my first bike (1981 GS450s) as well as on the '82 Katana.

Also did Boxford, MA to Washington, DC (583 miles via Scranton) last May for Rolling Thunder on Coppah.

There have been multiple rides with members from this site that have ended in the upper 500's to low 600's for the day. The ZX-12R handles sport touring duty rather well and I don't find myself too uncomfortable after a long day of riding.

Right about 500....on an RR.

Home to Niagra Falls...mostly all backroads. Turned around and came home the next day for just shy of 1k miles for the weekend.

Ah...the memories of that trip. That was a great weekend!

My 05 CBR 1k has a little over 54k on it and still runs great..still makes 149hp on the dyno...most miles i've done on it in one day was 619 and as much as i love riding, it was about all i wanted for one day.
