    Yeah I went up to Tonys trackday

    I rode Degs Ducati from his house up to the track with Nef

    I met SmoothR6, JeffL and a few people from the site

    If you are interested, there is a cool bunch of riders called the Patriot Guard Riders all over MA/NH etc. Most guys are former military, and we primarily ride in the funerals for the kids getting killed over in Iraq now. Heel, I would be most of them are sportbike types anyways. The families don't care what you ride, its the fact that you showed up and paid respect to their fallen son or daughter.

    Even if you are not a military person, you should check it out. Are they primarily Harley types? Sure. HOWEVER, this is totally 100% NOT about the bike you ride or the kinds of leathers you wear. Its about respect for the kids, and pride in being able to say we can actually have a choice in what kind of bikes we ride. You would be welcomed with open arms to ride.     I am a memeber of the Vermont Patriot Guard. I don't ride with them much because it IS all about cruisers.

    Doc, the reason why most members on that board are squids is because most military riders are squids. About half my company is planning on getting 1000cc bikes as first bikes when they get back from deployment. Mostly just because they want to look cool and have lots of cash in hand.
