Ouch. Do my eyes deceive me? Does the riders helmet end up kissing the boom on that boat? That has to suck.

How is it that the camera just happened to be trained upon an otherwise uninteresting scene of a dock, and how is it that the sound seems to be from a remote microphone? If I were taking a video from that viewpoint with just a handheld camera, I doubt I would get such good tripod-steady camera control and perfect sound from source that far away. Odd that the rider doesn't try to get off the bike before it plunges over, and then lands in the boat out of sight (on a soft airpillow)?
I smell a setup.

That's one expensive "set-up"....
Either that, they were filming for some other purpose... you know... like people do from time to time. Cuz it DEFINITELY didn't look like he did that intentionally. Look at the "OH HOLY MOTHER OF... FUUUUUCK" look on the guy's face. Not to mention the completely AWKWARD and potentially lethal landing zone. He easily could have gotten one of those poles jammed two feet UP his ass. No way in hell any stunt man in their right mind would take a 6-700lb bike off that ledge and land onto a boat like that.

Being an FJR jockey (or plow horse operator), I would say that isn't fake. That happened pretty quick, and the FJR's are not known for their low speed handling. I don't know if this guy wasn't used to riding a bike with bags, but you get to remember pretty quickly those things are hanging out there. Roll up next to your buddy in traffic to talk when you both have hard bags, you can't get at all close. I try to leave mine off as much as possible, but the instant lockable storage is nice.
