11. LEMON-AID STANDS
This one is *very* important. Little kids often sell lemon-aid from their front lawn during the summer. They rarely get any business, and are often quite happy when they do. If you get a chance to stop and make a kid smile, there really is no reason not to do so. This often scares the hell out of the parents (esp. when Will comes with us), but they usually figure out quite fast that bikers aren’t as badass as they are made out to be.

Good thing to do, I am going to make it a point to stop at one of these one day this summer. Ill leave woodsy at home when I do so, hes not allowed within 50 feet of a tasty... i mean young child.

good on ya! When I see kids pointing with their parents or just stop playing to watch me or a group of bikes go buy I always make it a point to wave. Gotta leave positive impressions in young minds. Now the kids telling me to wheelie kinda bug me, but I just ignore the wheelie sign and wave.

I give them the wheelie sign back. If nothing else, it causes confusion.


I have been known to stop at the occasional lemonade stand myself, but I rarely have change on me, so if I don't, I won't..... I have to remember to start carrying a few quarters when I go out.
