I like Kawasaki, but some brand of drink? Why do this in this case?

Repsol has a direct relation with racing. you can use their products. what does monster have to do with the sport? you really think those guys are slamming a can of that swill before they hit the track? have you ever drank that stuff? they gave me a can in lowell one night and i thought i was going to have a heart attack and then i crashed 30min later. i think R/R should be like this forum, "General Bike Related". gotta make money where you can i guess.

Perhaps, but they pay money. If it werent for Monster or Red Bull the amount of racing in this country would be a LOT less than it is now. Thats why out of industry sponsorships are so coveted. And why those bikes are race replicas

Oh, and maybe John Hopkins and whoevers riding AMA Kawis dont drink Monster, but go to a club race. Theres more MOnster and Red Bull consumed than gasoline.

80% of the crap people bolt onto bikes are Not for street machines? Since when do you need ohlins, Carbon fiber wheels and Rearsets and Akropovic pipes and power commanders on the street.

Just saying you can use them. they are motorcycle part used in racing so if you slap a huge decal down the side of your bike that says Akropovic then it would at least make sense. pour some monster into any fluid system on your bike and see how far it will take you. all i am saying is it is not for me. it is like driving a stock american sedan on the street covered in "Tide" markings.

Keeping sports thriving/growing is outside sponsorships not Dunlop/FMF/Vortex...its GEICO, Monster, RedBull, Century 21 whatever...

The new Monster edition kxf's look rad, first thing I would do with one is pull the Monster graphics off though.

Also, do you realize how much bank they are making on merch? I think my kx is like one of 3 in the US without Monster graphics on it.

oh huge $$$$$$. i realize the logistics behind it i just like seeing sponsor that do more than just treat racing as advertisement. I like the guys that treat it as product development.

But the money fuels the show, We need their money To have pro racing. Without outside sponsors its all just club racing. The product development aspect of it is cool yes. but its not enough $$$$ to run a factory team.

Motorcycle racing Does not pay the Bills at any of the tracks we love (Club racing is like a parasite on the backs of nascar) We basically keep the track staff employed in between Nascar events. Its a good thing.
