    just by way of a reminder:

    a member of a sport-touring board I frequent lost an argument w/ a logging truck yesterday – fatally. tho I never met him in person, I had a good feeling for the kind of guy he was. tragic as it was to read about this today, it did serve as a reminder to me: there’s more danger out there to us than ourselves, please stay alert to the other idiots who clog the roads. while we often go on in here about how we can avoid cranking up risks, Chuck wasn’t a squid… or a stunter… or a new kid on a gixxer 1K that got away from him. hell, he was a 57 yr. old guy on a K1200R, and he’d been riding forever. please keep an eye out for others’ mistakes… ESPECIALLY this time of year, when the cages aren’t as used to seeing us.

    thanx for listening… don’t want to lose any of you lot to a soccer mom w/ a cellphone glued to her ear.

    i went throu the new tunnel everyday to work and seeing the idiot ricers weving in and out of lane in tight traffic condition. im thinking how will i ever survive if i was on a bike.
