Sorry, I cannot send a check or money order for the full amount until I know the bike is in the country. There are import restrictions to the US and there may be a problem shipping the bike here. I am willing to send a $1000 travellers check to you as a sign of good faith if you can ship the bike to a friend of yours in the US for me to inspect. After inspection I will then pay the full amount to you or your agent in the USA.

I have been trying to find one of these bikes as I am a collector of Ducati motorcycles. I have 22 Ducatis in my garage! I need this one as it is not yet in my collection and very hard to find.

Please reply asap with your name/address details and I will expedite the travellers check.

For what it's worth that company is not on the ebay "approved list" although ebay may approve companies for other reasons besides security.

Yeah I usually don't trust web pages that have testimonials also. That just screams to me "people are doubting us, so let's give them some fake bullshit about people that have used our site to sucker them in...

How about you find an E-Bay approved shipping company, one that has insurance also and say that you are alread registered and do all your business through them. Maybe that will work.

That's the latest in the scams, scammers invent and register domains and put up entire convincing websites from either shipping or escrow companies in an attempt to bait their fish. It's really easy to get pulled into, I almost got bit by one once.

Put that shipping company's web address into google and you'll see that the only link that comes up is themself. Wonder how the guy found out about them if they aren't advertised anywhere...

OK, I went to the website of the shippers and sent in a message on their contact us form asking if they were legitimate etc. I did NOT however leave my email address. I put my name only. I bet I get an email back and I will be able to ask how they knew my email address......busted.

That sounds fine to me. I have contacted them via their very impressive web site and I have enquired as to the nature of how they wish this to be done. I do not like to register on online forms (personal information and I am a celebrity here in the US) and I would prefer to register with them via private email to them so I await their response.
