Hello all, I'm sure you've gotten this one before. Is there any way to watch motoGP races without having a premium cable package? I can't afford the speed channel package, so I'm looking for maybe a website that streams the races (live if possible), any ideas?
My ReplayTV records in MPEG format, and there's a program available on the net called DVArchive that allows you to pull shows off the replay and store them locally for sharing over the 'net.
Unfortunately, what I do not have is SpeedTV.
If there's anyone out there with a replay who would be willing to do this however, I can offer up a server on which to store the files.
Edit: Actually, better than a simple FTP server would probably be to seed a torrent and post it here.
Hey,
Live streaming is available on
MotoGP.com.
It around 30 euros. About $45 I think.
You'll need a good line to the net though.
also live I'd bet that their video server
is going to get taxed.
But on on demand replay should be better.
That a cheaper package.

I subscribed to MotoGP.com. Live streaming, and you can also watch the races whenever you want, if you miss it![]()
You can't afford Speed Channel, but you can afford the internet?? Priorities son!
Who watches that crap anyway?
Support the Troops! (Except for Mondo, that guy's a dick)

If it was just speed that would be fine, but comcast has chosen to only offer speed with their "platinum plus" package, which is something like 120 dollars a month. No fucking way am I paying $120 a month for cable, I don't even like most TV.Originally posted by ChrisNoF4i

Dunno. I downloaded bittorrent from the sourceforge mirror. Then I clicked on torrents. That seemed to work for me, and I'm behind a firewall with no open ports![]()

It was an awesome race. The end kind of reminds me of the elbow incident with Biaggi a few years back. I've subscribed for one race to see how it is live, if it's worth it I'll let you know. I'm sure it will be if you're a fan.
Thanks, Jaynnus!
What is the site that these vids are kept on?

Not the BEST quality, but definatly watchable. I'm a subscriber to MotoGP.com as I don't get speedchannel, and I can watch it full screen and it's a bit pixelated, but I can deal with it as it's the only way I can watch!Originally posted by Stupidhawk007

What a great, classic race!!! Do you think Sete wanted to clock Vale? He was pissed!!!!! Too bad for Nicky, he was the only other rider to be able to match the pace of Rossi and Gibernau.
Awesome race!!!!![]()
