Anyone use the motoport Kevlar air mesh jacket? looking to get a new jacket and this caught my eye. Its an all mesh jacket but rather then nylon its complete kevlar. Apparently the jacket has excellent crash ratings and flows lots of air. At 400 bucks without armor and then another 200 for what they claim to be the worlds most "impact absorbent" armor its 600 bucks. Im thinking for that price i can get a really nice perforated leather jacket for less. any thoughts?

Its great product and truly 3 season capable if you spring for the liner.
Their non perforated kevlar is the only the non leather suit approved for some racing series as well.
Personally though, I'd put the money toward leather. Still hold ups to a slide better, more easily repaired and many many more choices for proper fit (you can have the Motoport custom fit, but its more money)
cool, i heard about how it was an acceptable replacement for leather in some places. but still at over 400 bucks seems like leather is still a better choice.
