Yeah, I know about Roberto, who is Denno's leather guy. Unfortunately, the guy is next to impossible to get a hold of. I've called him several times and have not received a callback.
I need to have my 1-piece suit fixed and the fingers of a pair of A* GP Tech gloves restitched and need to find someone to take care of it. Anyone know of anyone else?
Thanks for all the replies. GRRRRRRR.
Well, I did some digging and actually called Teknic, who gave me the number of the woman who does 99% of their warranty repairs.
My suit wasn't torn on the leather. That was just cosmetic. However, the inside of my left sleeve, where the stretch fabric is, was torn beyond repair and the panel would need to be replaced.
Unfortunately, the panel isn't some run of the mill spandex. It's stretch Kevlar (even though their site says stretch Cordura). The panel itself would cost about $40, then about $100 for the repair, plus shipping both ways.
So, $150+ for repairing a suit I pair $300 for.
So, should I fix it or buy a new one? It would've been cheaper to fix if the leather had come undone.

Crap, had I seen this I would have sent you to Alexia.
That said, consider the level of suit you have and it's fit. If it's a mid to high end suit and fits well, $150 to repair it isn't bad. I've got a $300 suit that I've put $450 into repairs over a few years, haven't regretted it. My Vanson, a $150 repair is CHEAP compared to replacing it. Ask the person doing the repair if it's worth doing, they usually won't advise you to have work that results in a compromised suit or isn't worth it cost wise.

it may be a long shot but... i've used The Zipper Hospital in Worcester before to do some leather work for me, did an excellent job. i needed my Vanson jacked mated to Syed pants, sourced the parts from Vanson and ZH sewed everything up, including altering some of the Syeds. fast and cheap. the inner lining on the sleeve of my Vanson tore last season, gonna have them check it out and see if they can repair.
might be a local option for you. i saw a full suit hanging up for work when i dropped off my stuff so they must do leather work.

I don't think they repair other manufacturers leathers.
I think when someone said Alexia they meant Alexa at http://www.spyderleatherworks.com/
Barnacle Bill is also good
and John Bickle at www.bickleracing.com is also good but he's in Canada.
