I finally decided to give this a try today and it was pretty great. It's a mini bluetooth speaker that fits on my phone mount. It has a strap too so you can attach it to like anything. I did it mostly for fun/squid reasons but man, it's actually pretty awesome to have 'out loud' music playing on a motorcycle. It is loud but when I go around 50 or so it does get hard to hear, but now when I get stuck behind a minivan and have to slow down, I have some nice tunes to groove to.
Anyone else done something like this before?

I listed to NPR on my commute every day. Goldwing puts out some decent sound. Even with a full face helmet fully closed and earplugs, I can still listen normally at highway speeds.
Otherwise, I have a Sena headset that I can listen to tunes with inside my helmet, without blasting everyone in the immediate vicinity.
