I love going mach 2 down twisty back roads as much as the next guy, but similar to riding a little bike fast, theres something satisfying about hustling a big bike through some twisty roads, dragging floorboards while only doing 10 over the limit.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I've been meaning to start a thread about Road Blings for a while now.
Naaah, not quite ready for that thread.
Its nice when you happen to run into cops, too, only being 10-15 over the speed limit instead of 30-35 over or whatever, not to mention the consequences if you happen to hit something.
I've owned the Harley since new in 2005 and always liked it, but really fell in love with it again this past week. Just rode it again tonight with my wife on the back because her bike had a dead battery. I wouldn't want the Road King to be my only bike; still too young for that. I came pretty close to trailering down both my SV and the Harley. One for lookin and one for cookin.

Sounds like ya had a great two wheel vacation.
Good for you, it doesn't really matter what ya ride as long as your having a good time with yer
Knees in the breeze.
Traveling America by bike is the best way to go.
