I was at a Kawi dealer yesterday and saw the new Z1000. Right next to it was this "ninja 1000". It looked a lot like a Z1000 with fairings and riser clipons. Sticker on it called it a ZX1000G? I think.
Just thought it was weird that Kawi wouldn't call it was it is, a Z1000 R or S but decided to throw a ninja sticker on it and call it a ZX something.
I can't post a pic with my phone, so if someone wants to....
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Too heavy. I cannot understand why they don't take a previous generation ZX10R design and convert it into a light-weight sport tourer and also offer it in naked version.
If you want a comfy sport touring bike with a lot less weight and similar power, just by an older ZX9R and slap some soft bags on it.
cycle rider just had a review of it and explained the differences, they are subtly different, and meant for different markets
