when i recieved my card for doing the beginners msf class i just stuck the thing in my wallet. bringing it out a year and a half later i noticed that the "ridercoach signature & ID" line is blank. So I guess i am bored enough to ask if it makes a difference whether its filled out or notIn all seriousness i would think the least they could do for a day of telling me no wheelies or barrel rolls would be sign the damn card.

Insurance discounts... and maybe to pick up babes.![]()
You should be able to contact the school with the date that you took the class and they can give you a new one. Yes, you should have it signed as most insurance companies will require you to provide proof of completion of the course and that is all you have. Keep in mind that somewhere down the line you could change insurance companies and you will need it again to get your discount. After a certain number of years (depending on the school) they will no longer be able to replace your card or give you proof of completion, therefore I instruct my student to put it or a copy of it in a safe place...not your wallet![]()

yup had this happen to us,
a quick call to the instructor sorted it out and both alicia and I got our discounts...
but if it is not signed it is technically invalid.
at least from what i was told from our ins. co when we took the course and submitted our cards for discount....
Just take the ERC. Or they have a sportbike class now
Can't wait to teach some of those.
