no shit, nice save....dude's lucky he caught it before it was completely in front of him...looks like he caught the deer around it's shoulders and lucky it wasn't a buck!

It was a good save..Dood didn't panic, the deer hit a part of the bike that broke away without throwing the bike too severely off course (although this woulda been a different picture with a car coming the opposite direction).. We got billions of em down here, and I haven't seen many up North. Never seen a deer above Pa. on I-81. On the other hand, up North, aren't there moose and shit? That's like hitting a cow fer chissake..

I know of a kid that got clothesline by a moose one night a couple years ago. He ended up in Dartmouth Hitchcock in a coma. I don't know what ever happened to him, though.

Bike was totaled.
It's kinda like down in Texas. Yer flying down the road, doing 85-115MPH, and a flock of KILLER bees flies up into your helmet.
Question ya have to ask is, are ya man enuff to ignore the bees until you can haul the bike, without a crash, to the side of the road. That's the deer. And yesa indeedee-doodoie, they're quick.

Only for 40 minutes or so and the bike overheated, was probably leaking coolant, wow that was incredibly poised. I think he was lucky that he knicked the dear at the right angle that send it off to his side rather than into him.
Yeah thats one of the luckiest dudes i've seen in a youtube vid. Not only did he not crash but he didn't get goared by the things antlers yes it DID have antlers when he goes back to check it out you can see 1 of them is still mostly there the other one is broken off. Crazy ness. This kind of thing is why I drive slow at night on roads around here.
