Hi Everyone -
Just wanted to let everyone know that Suzuki will have a display truck and will be hosting demo rides from the FunSpot location north of Weirs Beach on top of the hill (579 Endicott St N. Laconia, NH 03246) starting June 12th and going to June 17th.
We'll be there with our bike on display at the beginning of the week, so if anyone wants come and demo anything from the Boulevard cruiser line to the Mighty GSXR line - here's your chance!
Direct any questions here and I'll do my best to get them answered for you.

Hmmm.. Any Bandits er GSX1250F? New DL650 too, I imagine.
I should have a list of attending models fairly soon.....but the GSX1250F should be included and present from what I understand so far.

How long / far can you demo a bike for?
2001 RC51!!!
2007 Husky SMR 510 - no longer... blown tranny
Usually the manufacturer maps out a decent loop for you to ride with a Suzuki person riding front and rear to keep an eye on things.
The demo ride route wil be pre-arranged by Suzuki, and I'm sure will consist of a few miles of riding (think less than 10 miles). A demo ride isn't a weekend rental, but it will give you ample time on the bike to see how the bike feels and for you to realize that the bike you are riding is EXACTLY what you are looking for.

hmm i was disappointed when i rea this... my idea of a GSXR demo was lets see how well it burnslol
Last year they did a route in CT that was about 20 miles.
Ok, here's the list (provided by SUZUKI) of bikes that will be at Funspot in Laconia from June 12 -17, both on display, and available for demo:
The units shown below highlighted in YELLOW are the ones we use as DEMO units and the other 8 units will be display models.

Come up and take one out for a ride. And with the current promotion they have going on, it just might make your summer!
We hope to see you all there!

We usually hit Funspot and do at least 3 demos from diff. manufacturers. They usually take you on a 20-30 minute ride on side roads in the mountains. You get the usual safety speech, but as long as everybody is doing ok, they'll pick up the pace. Of course everybody would love to take a bike for a day, but this is a decent time with ABSOLUTELY no sales push at the end, usually just a "thanks for coming, how'd you like it"
We did an Aprilia ride a few years ago, and one of the leaders did a nice smokey burnout at one of the stops - on a scooter, so it is pretty relaxed, as long as nobody gets real stupid.
What hours are the demo rides offered? I'll probably come up there after work sometime this week before the mad rush of the weekend.

I did a demo of the new GSX-R600 on Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and conducted a great ride. Thanks to American Suzuki. Please come back to bike week next year!
