Can't believe I forgot. I hadn't started my car since last thursday. Today is the fist day I haven't rode to work in a while. Doh!
Ben
I rode to work. Pouring out there now
I went for a ride to get lunch today, sitting there eating, looking out the window - raining.![]()
I saw 3 cruisers and not a single one waved to me...
I don't like howrain feels at 65mph... ouchy
Bras cause cancer.
You may want to consider more gear... That said, the really big drops at elevated speeds sting like a mutha through my riding suit sometimes.Originally posted by Nikon

Rode the TDM into work today, not realizing it was ride-to-work-day. Guess I lucked out.
Have been riding it for about two weeks straight. It's still for sale, but the more I ride it, the more I like it! Lots of low-end grunt, especially in the 3,500 to 5,000 rpm range. Short-shifting is a hoot!
I have been tiding to work regularly too, 3 tanks of gas yesterday, filled up again this morning, and my light is already flashing...
One of my stops today was the merrimck county register of deeds in concord, they are right beside the sherriff office on court street, parking us usually not a problem in a bike, they have a small 8'x8' space marked "MOTORCYCLE PARKING ONLY" WTF was parked ther today, a KIA Sportage, Fucking Asshole I didn't even dare park beside it even though I could fit, cause they would either knock my SV over trying to get out or have to move my bike, I managed to fit it next to a stairway but If I'd got a ticket I woulda been pissed, if I had more time, I woulda gone next door to the sherriff's office and complained about the KIA

pisssssed, couldn't ride cause I had to pick up some grill castings, not bike friendly at all, didn't see many bikes at all today, this is the first year since I've had a bike i've missed it![]()

you probably coulda taken off the mirrors by looking at 'em sideways.
kick his muffler off.
somethin...
The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
Did you ever live in Raymond on Nottingham? Used to see a red TDM (unfortunate name for a bike, "tedium"; prolly why they never sold well) go up and down my street every day. I always thought they were interesting bikes.Originally posted by DH2ML

I did live in Deerfield many years back, but I've only had the TDM since last June.
Must have been another one...
