    (ASSUMING MY BIKE ISNT TOTALED)
    I am thinking about putting neon on the bike this spring. I know that it will draw attention to the cops because last fall i was changing my oil one night in my front yard and a bike rode by with a neon licenceplate frame...and as usual the cops were on his ass a few yards up the street. This is just a little something i have thought about putting together for a while now, but i was wondering if someone out there had any idea what the fines were for getting caught for something like that.
    My GSXR is/was yellow, and i think that some yellow neon detailing would look SWEET. I am looking at putting two 4" tubes on each side it the plastic, a 2" tube in each of the vents in the front, a 4" tube over the front tire, and two 6" tubes over the rear tire. Obviously they will all be hidden and will only show up at night. (i am hoping that staying away from red or blue will bring a lessor of a fine...dont want to impersonate any athority figure) any suggestions??

    It is already done. dont want to go too far with that one because then you could loose reliablilty.

    Adam, have you revalved your forks and shock? That's the FIRST thing you should do to tune your bike.

    How about:

    Changing gear ratios
    Lighter wheels
    520 chain kit
    rearsets
    undercut gears
    full leathers
    The best helmet money can buy
    street riding or racing boots
    The best gloves money can buy
    fog city visor demister
    alloy valve caps
    water wetter
    rear tire hugger


    All things I would buy before spending money on cosmetics, and none of these will cause unreliablility, and all will enhance your bike's rideablility and performance.

    I'm pretty sure easy chicks like neon.

    Neon is about #243 on my list of things to do to my bike.
