Well, here it is... My ay to the track!

Seeing that my truck stands 15 Ft. tall, I didn't want to purchase a 12 ft. ramp, so here is the alternative to that!
I got 3 track days coming up, and this is the easiest thing for a 1 man show to get his bike up on the back of my shitbox Dodge, to make it to my TTD'S.
    So here are the pix!

I just took it for a HOT Lap to get gas, and it sat very steadily on the back.
If we could get rid of this fucking rain, I just might be able to ride her!!

any way you can get those straps off the grips & onto the bottom triple clamp?

I despise going to the handlebars. It can potentially eff up your grips if not done right.

I've also been afraid of those setups since they came out, but for some reason, I have good faith in yours because it looks pretty solid

maybe they've gotten better of the years?

Just be careful on some of the craters on 93. Its like a fucking MotoX Track. Towing my trailer last week I had a couple ass pucker moments watching it bounce around in my mirror. When you see the sign that says, "BUMP" its worth slowing down.

    +1 ...or even bend/break 'em....seen it happen

other than that I think it looks pretty good.

Best deal I've see is the rig Kim has...maybe she'll post up pics of that!

ok, ok, bitches...I get yer drift on the non handlebar securing point. I will look to see if I can secure it another way. I do agree with you on this, I just was in a hurry to throw it up there by meself and see how it would go. I've never been a fan of clamping on the grips. I took her to the local gas raping to fill her up and see how she would do.

its not on the tongue randy..they slide into a receiver like a trailer hitch.

try some canyon dancers for tying up the front.

I would have gotten a new tape measurer and then some ramps. That truck doesnt look anywhere near 10' tall let alone 15

Re: Well, here it is... My ay to the track!

I can assure you my penis is bigger that 6! LOL The set up cost 600.00 with a locking hitch pin and I got a brake light kit in case the bike conseals the truck brake lights. I looked into ramps and if you use the on line ramp calculator, I would need a 12 ft. ramp. That costs about the same. My truck has a 2" body lift and 35" tires, so it does sit a bit high. It does the trick for me.

No sag in the back at all. The truck came factory with the tow/camper pkg. (x-tra leaf springs in it)

Re: Well, here it is... My ay to the track!

12ft ramps you need not. you need and arched ramp. im pretty sure Jim Fs truck could drive over yours like it was a Prius and his ramps arent 12ft, but they are arched and the worked to get the bikes out of my bus which probably sits as high as your truck. whatever works for you. i think its funny that people dont put things that go IN a p/u truck actually IN the truck. like bicycle racks......
