No, an a$$hole would say after 3 crashes in 2 years in might be time to go down to a smaller bike. How about a 600? Cheaper bike, cheaper insurance, lighter and easier to turn.

I was thinking the same thing? In my mind the choices you offer aren't real choices. They are basically the same freeking bike with a different UJM Logo. I agree with Rob...maybe even consider a twin...SV650 or even an SV1000. I believe you will ride better on a twin, learn more, and save money on service.

(BTW...agreeing with Cheese doesn't make me an asshole. An idiot maybe, but not an asshole!)
