Found Leathers! BUT???

Ok, a guy I work with has a brother out in California that bought a set of AGV Apache leathers from a place going out of business. He got home and decided he didn't like them as much as his old leathers. Can't return them since all sales were final. He sent them to me and will let me have them for $150!
They are brand new still in the bag and fit well, but the kicker is the color.

The pros: beggers can't be choosers
$150!!
good fit

the con: You won't miss me on the roads
Green, Black, White. Not too bad but hell pros beat the cons.

I lucked out with my leather 1 piece; white/red/black.

$150 sounds like a damned good deal to me, crazy colors or not.

I really didn't care about the color. Figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. Rather be green/black/white then red all over the road.

Had my wife take a picture. You will know when you see me on the roads. Hopefully it comes across. I have been having problems with it tranfering to the forum.

Well, I can honestly say that no idiot on 4 wheels has an excuse for not seeing you.

I'd be pretty happy if I were you. $150 is about as much money as many of us spent on our last pair of gloves.

I am thrilled about the price. My friends brother is a great guy, doesn't hurt that he has a ton of money either.

My boots cost more then the leathers.

Doesn't look bad at all. When you think about it, it is tough to make these suits actually look really cool, regardless of colors involved. You got the buy of the year.

Those are NOTHING compared to my FREE set, worn on ly at the track for a reason. The best Syed had in the early 90's... (hint: neon was not gone yet).

White leathers with neon pink/yellow/green/blue letters and graphics. They are a bit big, but would do the job if needed. Although they are absolutely heinous looking, they were free.

Nice job on the cheap, ugly leathers - you could've done worse!!

You can take them to a leather shop and have the color changed to black. It should only cost you like 30-50 bucks.

I look like a fricken Power Ranger in my yellow and black leathers

Its the price tag that makes it hard to resist them.

I may be free Sunday afternoon, not sure till tomorrow morning.
But thinking more like next Saturday or Sunday. This would give more time to post on the Ride section and get more people involved. Also to figure out a destination where we can be appreciated!

I'm in, although mine aren't super ugly, I do look like the red power ranger

This should be an easy pace too, we will be laughing so friggen hard at the looks on people as we go by
