You, sir, are correct!
How the HELL did you come up with that one?
Nix- You were very close but I didn't wanna let the cat all the way outta the bag.
Well, the good news is I have my camera today. The bad news is he didn't take his bike.....maybe I'll post my chicken strips for good measure.
Hopefully tomorrow...
I asked him why he didn't ride in and he mumbled something about cold tires and dumping it...keep in mind, we get out of work at 2am, so I feel his claim is somewhat valid.
I offered once again to let me take his bike for a rip. Promised only wheelies and kneedragging...he declined.
He dumped it because his tires were cold??????Don't ya have to lean to do that?
No, no, no...he mumbled "concerns" about dumping it on cold tires...sorry, my bad...
Anyways, I'm going to highly suggest he ride in tomorrow as we're going to have some killer weather!
Maybe then I'll get those pics. I certainly hope so because there's no more work until Monday....I don't think I can wait that long to capture this kind of excitement.
Hot off the press!
I had to be quick about it because he was outside and I didn't want to look like total weirdo taking pics of motorcycle tires while everyone was on break.
And now, the moment you've been waiting for...
Yes, I admit I have some strips as well...Originally Posted by l3uddah

That is what? gsxr 600 only shiat... those are some giant strips
Those are serious strips...actually, they are about the same width, if not less, than the strips on the Gixxah 600 I bought in December (salvage)...the guy had about 2,200 miles with the biggest strips I'd ever seen. TrickPhoto and others saw it. Degsy helped me convert it into a race bike, with the skill of Peter Kates setting the suspension. The transformation was complete at VIR (see new gixxah post last night). No strips on the Pilot Race tires. The guy who owned that bike had no idea what it was capable of doing at the track, let alone the street. Damn shame to own a Gixxah and not ride it to potential.

Wow those strips are humongous. Maybe his body positioning is just REALLY good?

That there is the complete chicken strip basket with fries and a shake. The bike leans farther when its on its kickstand. How long's this guy been riding?
Wow I thought my 3/4th of an inch chicken strips were bad, but that def tops the cake!!! How long has the guy been riding, a year? Maybe he's not comfortable yet leaning the bike over? Or maybe he doesn't ride anything that has twisties. For example, down in FL, all the roads are staight pretty much so its kinda hard to lean the bike over.
wow thats pretty bad
Instead of ridiculing the guy how about giving him some pointers? When I was new I had big chicken strips now I barely have any at all may an 1/8".
