Your opinion-Sportbike Safety Events?

Chiming in late. This is a difficult but very worthwhile project. It will be a challenge to make it educational, safe and fun.

One suggestion for the program is tips and training for riding with passengers.

I think advanced riders making demonstrations along with video tutorials and demonstrations would be very usefull tools. Freezeframe video's showing good and bad technique?

Videos could be cool. But if its sunny and bright out its awfully
hard to project the stuff without some serious high end equipment.
Maybe as its gets darker?

Anyway I'd be down to help on something like
this if its started!

Seekonk Speedway maybe a good visible site for the south eastern meet.

Or we can talk to Paul Cote and find motorcycle friendly businesses (restaurants) that would donate their parking lot and provide food. The Jockey Club in Raynham comes to mind.

Crashin sucks...

I think videos like that only cool down the squids that want to be or are open to be cooled down...

Stunters see crashing as 'part of what they do' and for some it's some sort of 'rite of passage' And if you've ever watched those stunt compilation DVD's, they'll show nasty wrecks and some guy in the hospital who goes back out and stunts on the highway again, despite having crashed on public roads already...

It boggles me that stunters don't wear gear... but that's a different topic altogether.
