My brother is looking to sell his 02 GSXR 1000 (baby on the way) , but offered it to me first.

I have an 02 zx6r in good condition that I have owned since new. I like both bikes and enjoy riding mine.

The pros = cost for the upgrade, and I would get into a FI bike instead of carbed. I have some ideas to what I would change to the bike. Also I know the history of the bike.

The cons = still a 2002


Should I use this to trade up to a larger bike. I have been recently thinking about a newer 750 or R1.

What would you do?

I would recommend if you wanted you guys put both in the papers

If his sells .....done

If yours sells then that plus like 20%

Other ugly fact was he the main riding buddy... if so will you still be busy MC wise

buy it, sell it in two months when the riding bug really hits, split the profit w/ your bro.
