My brother and I are looking to upgrade our bikes. We went out saturday to different dealers around our area and I sat on several different bikes to see what I felt comfortable on. My brother brought me to some Kawi/honda dealer in Salem NH (right off of exit3) and wanted to show me a bike he was interested in. It was a 2006, black kawi z750s with a few mods (double bubble, leo something exhaust, fender eliminator) and although I usually don't go for naked looks this one looked pretty decentand the price was looking good too it had very low miles. I sat on it and I liked it better than the kawi 650 (for some reason the 650 made my inner thigh muscles ache lol, and the 650's tank is a bit more bulbous which rubbed up against my pelvic area and not in a good way) Needless to say, I was a liking the 750 better. But my brother had his eye on it first and started the paperwork on it. He has to wait till monday to see if deal is going to go through. But now I am lusting for the same bike. He may not get it due to his not so good credit/work history. I am getting evil thoughts of scooping it up if it falls through for him. So, first I want to know if its a worthy machine to own. And second, should I even not think of buying it anyway cuz it would be the sleazy thing to do

You sure it wasn't Nault's Honda in Windham, NH???
I dunno, was following brother on my bike and we were on 111, I saw Rt93 (so we were near exit 3) and dealership was like right there on some street off of 111. Could have been Windham, but It must be pretty close to Salem. I thought the used bike prices were fairly decent, better than MOM's and Plaistow Power sports.
thats a good rock solid bike. i had a 2001 i think? it was before they made the "s" witch is just a fairing. how much $ they looking for it. i liked mine just wanted a little more power and more fairing.
Engine is rock solid. It is atcually the same block from the z1000, with smaller displacement I believe. It makes it a little heavy but friends of mine have owned a couple of them and you just can't kill it. tons of stuff you can do to it.
I am pretty sure the price either said $4200. or $4500. but on their website (looked it up, it is Nault's) it list the bike for $4900. It has 1,200 miles on it. Kelley blue book puts retail at around 5 thousand, depend on condition. And this one is MINT! I did want a little sportier bike so I sat on all the 600's and maybe I'm just too short cuz I was literally splayed over the tanks and couldn't get any clearance over themdammit. (the 750 was tall too, but thanks to the thinner seat it was a manageable tip toe) So I may need a little more standard set up. Well, doesn't matter anyway, bro may still get finance approval. And I don't think I could do something so underhanded and rub it in his face.
What are you "upgrading" from?

Although sat on a left over 08 GSX600 that was lowered, and it was PERFECT!! I can't believe the difference on how a bike feels when you can actually get your feet on the ground!! HAha, also had a good laugh, and/or vomit fit at one place....they actually had a CBR600 that was covered in pink cameo and the steering column was bedazzled out with multi-colored gems, totally pimped that shit out.

My wife has an 05 750s. It's a nice bike. It has a few problems, though.
The seat is great for getting your feet on the ground, but is not well shaped for comfort.
The front forks are very soft for riding on the track, but is very good for typical street riding. The rear shock is another budget item that can be upgraded with a 05/06 ZX636 unit.
The fairing is great, but buzzes.
Other than that, it's a great bike that you will be very happy with.
I like teh 650R a lot. I rode one on the track in Sept. and it was a well balanced package. If your brohter gets the 750, then I'd consider the 650R.
