6;15 am and I on my way to work this morning on my bike. A little cool which is ok because my bike loves the cold air and runs great on these types on days. I`m leaving a stop light on RT 16 Medford and accelerating through a slow left hander when all of a sudden I felt like I had hit a patch of ice. I sat up a bit , turned towards the guardrail and rode it out. Luck was with me and the bike stayed upright. I was pretty lucky and had enough road left to keep my bike away from hitting the guardrail. I noticed only then that I had antifreeze all over my right leg ,fairing ,tire ,etc. Looks like I blew the bottom radiator a hose. Bikes going home on a ramp truck as I speak. This sucks but it`s still better than a lot of things that could have happened.![]()

I'd call that a win! You got away with just the price of a hose, some antifreeze, and a tow. And you now know that you can handle yourself in an emergency.

Thank god you were able to keep it straight. A blown hose sucks but it could have been worse.
Good job on keeping it shiny!

damn rick! glad to hear it all worked out. Now get it fixed! MCN is around the corner and I need someone else to represent the "new vintage" class of motorcycles with me...
