Sounds ok to me. I'm sure they got your email from a motorcycle shop or mag subscription list or somthing.
Agreed, looks legit. Snagged your email just as Degsy said.
When in doubt, google in the base URL (ie researchnow.com) and see if people are reporting it for any odd reason.
