At MotoMilano in Windham. They had already installed a set of Termi's, and there was almost nobody there to ride it.
Did 7-8 mile loop, the bike is really amazing and exceeded my expectations. It really pulled hard, great brakes, etc etc. Had to resist asking how much my gsxr would be worth on a trade...
That is such a sweet bike but it is out of my price range . There would be no need to put myself through such torture having to give it back.![]()

I rode the white Streetfighter at Moto Milano as well... damn do I want that bike. My only complaint is the right exhaust heatshield, it's completely in the way of your foot. I couldn't get my foot fully on the peg with it in the way.
I test rode one at Seacoast Sport Cycles. Awesome bike. The power is great, the sound is great, the brakes are phenomenal, the handling is terrific. It is very light and very narrow. I had heard the seat was very tall, but I'm only 5' 9" and had no trouble flat-footing. It seems just a tad taller than my Z1000. I thought the looks were just a bit disappointing. The are a couple of non-CF plastic bits (like the rear hugger) that I thought looked a little cheesy. I think the pics I had seen looked better than it did in the metal. I think the black one might pull together better visually for me (they had a red one). That and the right peg/heat shield were the only negatives - oh, yeah, that and the price.
I was there, hanging out. Dark blue shirt with the sleeves pushed up, jeans, and motorcycle boots. My ST3 was hiding at the back of the lot.
I did the demo at Wagner yesterday afternoon, good sized crowd when I was there. Not sold on the looks completely, due to the headlight. Perfomance wise the bike was awesome!! Amazing brakes, low end grunt comfortable ergos and that lovely duc sound were all plus', like everyone else the heat shield was annoying but after a few minutes I adjusted to it. Thanks to Wagner for hosting the demos and lunch, made the ride to NY on my D675 feel slow...... r

Just came back from Seacoast where Jim strong armed me into taking a ride. I loved everything about it. Reminds me a lot of the Hyper but, man, what a motor.
Sweet ride for sure...!!!

I took a ride at Moto Milano as well...I STILL can't get that exhaust note of the Termi slip on's out of my head...I was SO dissapointed in the sound my Duc madeon the way home with my LeoVince SBK's...The Streetfigheter handled great, sounded GREAT!!! had a TON of power...And was very comfortable...Thanks Jerry for letting us take her for a spin!!![]()

I ripped a Streetfighter for 2 sessions at the Penguin Ducati Revs New England Trackday on Monday. As some of you know, as the former Promotions Manager for Ducati HQ I've spent more than a bit of time in the saddle of big Dukes. The Streetfighter was one of the more fun Ducati's I've ripped around the track. (that list includes 1098R, 848, Hyper, Millona, 999, etc).
My main thought was it was way easier to ride fun and fast around Loudon than the 1098. 1098 around Loudon was more of a pain in the ass than anything else. The Streetfighter was pure fun. It's got that AMAZINGLY fast 1098 motor stuffed in a chassis that's easier to throw around and sit up on for track hooliganism. Around the tight and bumpy Loudon, this was a nice change from the pure race ergonomics of the 1098.
Had a ball. The motor is a beast with the tyre spinning up out of 6, 4, 12. Power wheelies thru the gearbox out of 12, over the hill. Insane brakes that allow you to just hammer down into T3, the Bowl, T11, etc.
Only negatives is the bike is a bit twitchy thru the bars but that was too be expected. Your sticking a massive engine in a streetfighter setup with wide flat bars and gobs of horsepower ripping out the rear wheel. Very very easy to get some big headshake thru the bars and literally rip the front wheel of the ground when doing tight transitions (like thru the chicanes or T12/T12A.
Good stuff. I definitely missed riding a bike with big horsepower and arm-stretching speed!
PS: NOT FUN moment of the riding: Clipping the right handlebar on the airfence in the 1st chicane. How it didn't engage the front brake and launch me over the bars I'll never know.... forgot I wasn't on my motard with handguards! (which I banged off the airfence all weekend). Holy pants pooping!

I'd really really love that bike with a 848 motor in it. Streetfighter848 FTW!
