RV cover or tarp?

Trying to research this but does anyone have an opinion for winter outdoor storage? White tarp vs an rv cover? Pros & cons?
Also where to find the white tarps? I found some covers on ebay.

I believe the primary concern with tarps vs engineered covers is tarps hold moisture underneath, covers should 'breathe' although once there is a good snow load on top I dunno if either behave differently at that point?

Cover your AC and be done with it. Covers cause more problems than they're worth.

I agree with the breathable thing, kinda leaning that way with a cover since you can get a breathable cover with waterproof top. Concerned with the tarp holding moisture in.
