So Im seeing a few different descriptions of these tires....V2, C Spec, etc....
Whats the deal on these? Whats oem for Ducati? (sorry, not near bike right now)
I need a set of 120/180's ASAP....Bomo trackday on the 10th....and Im noticing my rear is pretty spent after closer inspection....
Help!
The Supercorsa "SP" is the OEM version of the Pirelli race DOT; it comes from the factory on a number of bikes, including a few Ducatis. It's a good tire, less aggressive rubber compound than the race version, but not something many would buy once the OEM set wears out, only because it costs more than a pair of the Supercorsa "SC" (actual DOT race tire) or a pair of less sporty sport touring tires depending on which direction your real life riding leans.
I do have a couple options in stock for you, that we could ship out for you to have in time for BoMo next Monday. Unfortunately, we won't be at the track for that event to mount them.
Diablo Rosso Corsa in 120/70 & 180/55 - a street/trackday tire
Diablo Supercorsa SC2 in 120/70 & 180/60 - the race version of the OEM tire in the new rear profile currently being used in World Supersport racing
Diablo Superbike PRO Trackday slick in 120/70 & 180/55 - a slick (non treaded, non street legal) tire designed specifically for trackday use
PM me here or email info@gomtag.com if you've got any questions. We are headed to NYST tomorrow for a TTD event, and any of these not sold could potentially be sold there, so if you do need something, please order it on the website sooner rather than later. We may not be able to ship them until Tuesday when we're back, but you should get them in one day via UPS.

Mike, ive read of people with the DTC (ducati traction control, I have this...) have issues with tires that are not the SP's due to even a slightly different profile. This is my streetbike that I plan on 4 or 5 trackdays a year and maybe 2000 street miles a year. I think the only other tire I would consider is the street/trackday 'red lines' (non slick)
That make any sense to you?
(btw...I think its Mike, right???)

John, let me check on the DTC issue. A friend and race sponsor, John from Dyno Solutions here in CT, ran an 1198 with Supercorsa DOTs in the 200/55 size last year and I'm almost positive he had traction control.
Yup, it's Mike.![]()

We have put lots of SC's on Ducati's with traction control and have had no issues.
The 180/60 is also what we currently have available and can get you in time for the Boston Moto day next Monday.

FYI, the 1198 came with 190/55 stock, we went to the 200/55 and saw no issues with the traction control.
