Passed a cruiser (HD??) yesterday...

in my Durango with a boat in tow. Can you imagine riding a bike so slow (speed limit -10) that a gas sucking SUV towing a boat could easily pass you and leave you way behind on a road like 126 in NH? What a tagic waste of money and human spirit. Nice day on Winnipesaukee though

Couple of older folks (50s, I'm guessing), no helmets or gear. Didn't look like newbies, just morons. Coulda moved over to let the line of cars get by...

I've passed HD's in my lowly ol' 4 cylinder Outback. Fuckers have this thing about doing 5-10 UNDER the speed limit on route 28 up my way...

On another note: You took route 126 on your way to Winni, and you didn't stop by for a beer??? (I'm guessing route 126 to route 28?)

Driving home from Littleton yesterday afternoon and there were two HDs in the passing lane of Rt 93, but wouldn't pass anyone.

There was a whole line of cars in the slow lane and they were in the passing lane, no one in front of them, just poking along, holding up traffic. Typical HD safety gear. (don't need a helmet if you're brainless, right?)

I took 28 from Alton to 126 to 202, yadda yadda yadda, to Raymond to see if it was better than 11 and 16 to 202 which can suck on a Sunday night. Nice to have options, but 28 is awfully bumpy from Alton to Barnstead so I won't be doing it a whole lot unless they repave.

Two reasons I did not stop: It was a spur of the moment decision to go that way and, uh, I have no idea (other than the town) where you live. You can send me the beer and we'll call it even

I think I need ot learn to stop doing everything on the spur of the moment. I moved to England with my wife and kids once with <1 week's notice...
