    new oil pan

    stripped out the threads after 4 years and does'nt this suck, 2 week wait for a factory part and what a pain to get at. undo this, take off that, thank god its been crapy weather.

    can anyone sympathize?

    i think that you should have a conversation with Roger (piddlep) as he decided to show his strength and overtorque the helll outta his....in the process he managed to crack his pan. Not quite the same thing but pretty bad none the less....

    You can buy a rubber drain plug that as you tighten it will get bigger and create a seal. It'll work until you get your new one.
