Whats going on guys, figured I'd drop in here and give you all a heads up. We have decided after some 15+ years to power down BoRn. The activity level on our site has dropped to a sad level with most of the members no longer even owning bikes. We've kept the site alive for the last 2 years or so just for nostalgia sake but at the end of the day I rather not hold onto something out of ego or pride. I know in the past there has been plenty of Kaa Kaa Poo Poo between both our sites online; but I also know that in person most of you clowns get along pretty well. So with that being said I am hoping you guys welcome any new lurkers and hopefully NESR can continue to thrive and provide a home for those looking to continue with their passion. Over the last decade the motorcycle community and landscape has defiantly changed, less and less new riders are joining with more and more of us moving to trackdays, racing or just moving on with life and out of the bike scene. I'm just hopeful this place can continue to be a place where new riders can learn, make friends, find events and grow as riders.
With that said, welcome your fellow motorcycle refugees.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
Fuck those Connecticut fucks! Massholes rule!
Maybe there will be more bike talk now. Will that bring more pro trump or anti trump to the discussion? Lol.

Maybe we should build a wall to keep them out
Build the firewall!
No bad blood here, benefit of not actually knowing anybody.
P.S. Not sure how resource intensive it is but myself and probably others have server space that could be a refuge or archive of sorts. I've migrated and run several vBull sites in the past.

No real point of keeping a site around that has a total of 10-30 active members who mostly never rider and post about stupid shit. The CT motorcycle community, at least online, is not what it was 10+ years ago. Not sure how things have changed around here on NESR but the landscape just isnt the same. We aren't attracting new members and those we have are moving on with life and hobbies.
What kind of snowblowers do you Guys have ?
Just read some of your threads. Sounds like in general you ran into same issues as I did with Shift518 before I sold it.
Running a forum in the hay day was fun and a chore at the same time, however in the last 5 years or so it's just dreadful to keep trying to keep the pulse going as they are dying under you. At certain point you know it's just time to put them down.
RIP forums
Yeah its def sad to see, our forum had a lot of amazing members, memories and friendships made that will last a lifetime. Sucks that the hobby in itself isnt thriving like it used to. I hate to refer to the early 2000's and the Biker Boyz craze but thats when I saw the most sport bikes out there. After the economy took a shitter bikes became a luxury commodity like jet skis and other things. To boot the millennials are all about retro looking bobbers & parking them in front of Starbucks vs the stuff most of us are into. Maybe its the generational gap or the fact that other social medias killed the forums, crappy leadership or stuck up members or little unwelcoming cliques... doesn't matter now. Im just hoping for the sake of everyone still sticking around here or elsewhere the sportbike bike community continues to thrive & people help one another, share knowledge, make memories and life long friendships. /EndEmoRant
