Someone needs to find the video of the fellow showing his new electric motorcycle to a TV news crew and proceeds to waddle it right infront of their eyes as the throttle sticks.............![]()

What's the range before a re-charge?

hahaha stupid squid, he should have at least had a helmet on. I mean the guy was just saying ow VERY fast is was!
That company A123 is a Ma based company, the company my friend works for builds computer systems to test their batteries for them.
What a clown! I wouldn't touch a bike that powerful without a full suit etc. The acceleration looked mind warping and he was between concrete piling and was that car parked there or what?
Anyway, who decided electric was cleaner than oil? so the pollution comes from a coal plant instead of an exhaust pipe. Out of site out of mind I guess.
ok, here is another electric motorcycle made by a college kid, it is REALLY NICE.
I really want to build one of these now, but more like his one!
>>ION Electric Motorcycle<<
Cool!
Got specs?
Is it on evalbum.com?
Modern power plants are quite a bit more efficient than small internal combustion engines. You end up burning less fuel per unit power by sourcing your energy from a large generating station.
As technology progresses there will be more and more alternatively powered generating stations that don't rely on fossil fuels. The biggest hurdle for electric power right now is storage. Battery technology has not progressed far enough to provide the same range or run times when in a similar footprint to a gas tank.
