Was checking out Pirelli's website and noticed they have a WET tire as well as a RAIN tire. Was wondering when would I choose to use a WET tire? Seems like its a tire to use when the track is mixed with wet and dry patches? Or is it just a middle ground compromise tire that you can run in the dry well as well as the rain.

It sounds like its like an intermediate tire. So the track is wet but its not raining and no puddles.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

yeah, we don't carry them normally either... I'd go full wet or DOT/Slick
a good "intermediate" tire is something like the pilot road 3. good for a wet, drying, or dry track (depending on your pace)

a good intermediate for a super fast expert is a full rain and just destroy it in one race.
