Well, guess that old Ninja's finally gone to the dogs!
Well, it takes a dog to know a dog!
That's dog gone crazy!!!
OK I'll stop.

I own a pit bull and I'll tell ya first hand, yes you do need to ALWAYS have control of where your dog is and ALWAYS pay attention to it's actions. With that being said, this could have been alot worse and I'm glad it wasn't. Good to hear you and the dog walked away unscathed.

on another note I bet most of you will try more than once before actually spotting which one is the real Pit bull terrier... go ahead give it a whirl.

It's too bad pits get the bad rap for bad dogs that aren't even pits.
Sorry to be so defensive it's kind of a sore subject.![]()

Thats the kinda "treat" I was thinking of
Breed doesn't matter. How many people here have seen dogs go nuts around bikes? I see it all the time. Luckily some are on leashes. I've had one dog bite my leg while the owner stood there and watched. Not once did he call the dog or come after it. Nothing like trying to hold the bike up with a dog latched onto your leg. After it let my leg go he said "Next time just shut your bike off, he/she won't bother you"......... black lab. Got bit by another black lab, while riding snowmobiles. Damn dog stalked snowmobiles. It laid along side the trail and waited for people to ride by. That one there had no idea how close it came to meeting the maker.
Most recently I was bitten by a smaller mixed breed. Shitty part about that is, I was at the Cog Railway on the observation deck. All kindsa people around, kids, etc. I am however glad that dog decided to bite me, all it got was a mouthful of armored boot. With armored leather under said boot. I barely felt it.
I'm not sure its the training, some dogs just go nuts around bikes, sleds, atvs.
I don't think the owners are encouraging their dogs to attack. Though I think owners of animals like that need to fence the yard or keep it hitched.
If the owner of the pitbull saw that happen, hopefully he realized how close he came to having a really big headache.
I thought VT had a leash law?
+1 on the breed as I had to punch my bosses golden in the head because he was attacking my 60 year old mother yet felt completely comfortable staying over Jenna's house with 3 full grown male rottweilers and mind you I was walking with a cane casue I fucked my leg up and still in a sling nursing a broken collar bone. (crashing sucks)
fyi, wouldn't suggest breaking into her house
Pit bulls suck! and Bite also.
It pays to play.
Ride fast,
You will get farther before it is over!
