Damn... from the main page it only showed "snowboard + motor". I was ready to hack up my old Burton and find a chainsaw/dirt bike/whatever engine.

When I was in the snowboard club in college a couple times we got dumped on (a couple feet) and school was cancelled... we took the buggy from the mini-baja racer club out onto comm ave and towed eachother behind it on our snowboards

We did something like this with a big truck and the Misquamicut state beach parking lot. It was all fun and games until the police showed up with a paddy wagon and offered to haul us all off to jail. IDK to this day what we did wrong.

You won't have that problem in Burlington. I used to do it all the time right in the streets, worst we ever got told by the police was to go somewhere else such as the mall parking lot. Have fun, take good photos!

in my day it was stolen cafeteria trays being towed behind an old British Land Rover around the campus quad

It's "skitching" and I do it a few times each winter with my truck. The conditions need to be perfect but we do it on dirt roads out in the sticks. The best conditions are powder on the roads but with snow banks. A 4wd truck and a water ski rope and you can climb the banks and go riding out in the fields. Just scout ahead first. I lost a rope to one of those telephone piers that stick up about 3 feet. I even did it on the interstate once back in college. I was at VTC and they closed the interstate it was snowing so badly. Good ole redneck fun!!!

try it on a mini skateboard with the wheels/trucks removed.......after the street has been plowed. My roommate was crazy as hell and I wouldn't do it so I drove the truck. It didn't work out too well but he didn't get hurt.

We did the urban snow boarding thing afew times. The first was just riding down this curvy hill in the middle of town, but we were not getting alotta speed so we pulled out the trusty honda civic and pulled eachother around. Another time was probably the best 'cause we had a 4wd truck, camera, ski rope, and a ton of snow. The towns werent plowing yet and we were able to use the snowbanks as a half pipe for idk about 5 mile that we were pulling. The we tackled a golf coarse parking lot and headed back home. Along the way back home we mixed it up by skitching (thank god I had my icon gloves) and using the spare tire as a tube. Good fun had by all. As far as mounting a snowboard to a bike, i think that this dirt bike surf board combo looks like a good idea above.
