I was going to but I didn't see much action on the group rider posts when I checked..so I kinda took my time and went down to the beach. I don't know when I'll be able to get out again but I think there are tentaive plans to head to the races on October 6th

I've never ridden any year gsxr750, let alone a 1999. Just with a hardware list of each bike, it's certainly not a apples to apples comparo

My 50th jacket grew a little over the past year and is a tad to big for me...so no, I did not have that on As for the helmet, if it makes you feel any better, I do have a 2002 RX7 Haga replica that matches it...though my head shrunk a little and the Edwards fits me more better

The R7 is a sweet ride no doubt. I got my first chance to ride one last week (sort of).

there was... only it was called the RC45. they cost 30 grand brand new (in 1990s dollars). there might be 50 of them in the US.
