Tanks SUCK. do a google search for dent wizard. When I did Pete's racebike, everything was out of it, pump and all... then I heated and pushed them out from the inside. BUT that was a racebike and got a skim coat of bondo and a 100/100 paintjob....

I've got a ding in my tank that looks as if someone's thumb push the tank in (it tipped and wedged against my garage opening). I've toyed with the idea of dent wizard, but would also appreciate anyone else's experience with removal from the "inside out."

Not an easy fix without having to do any painting, then you have to worry if the fresh paint, (or blended paint) matches.

I have seen where they have put holes opposite the dents to be able to push them out and then welded a patch over the spot. They knew what they were doing though. This was a vintage showbike.
