I could not help myself. I thought, I'll just start the bike today, I just want hear her. Well that led to, well, I'll just blast up and down my road, I just wanna feel it.

Well, I just got home from about an hour rip. By the beach back through town topped off the tank and back home. Next time I should wear my gloves though, 44 is still chilly on the bike. I think there was so much exileration I did not even notice the tempature. Pulling her back in the garage was very hard to do...

I am off to figure out how to thaw out my fingers.

I had my own version today. Mogul skiing at Sugarbush VT all day in mid 40 temps and bright sun. Tomorrow is going to be tough getting out of bed...

I hear ya Jane.

I had to replace a burnt headlight... so I put the new bulb in.. and had to start it up to make sure it was working.

Then I decided to take it for a quick spin.

That turned into a nice little rip.... until I hit the reserve... topped it off and came home.

Hosed it off and put it back up on the stands.

I put a whopping 25 miles on the R1 today....it was fun though. Damn near 55 degrees up here in VT

Alsio my first ride on the R1 with it running properly - that thing is SCARY....

55 degrees has to be some sort of record in VT. It's probably the first time you've seen that temp in at least 15 years or so

I too couldn't keep myself away from my bike today. I installed my new mirrorsthis afternoon and had to test them out on the road. I only did around 10 miles, but that is most I've done since November. Now if only it were spring already. [crossing fingers]

will it be nice saturday? maybe i'll swing by and borrow something before going to red's seeing as my bike is in teh shed behind a 10 foot snow drift.

The battery went in so I battled the mud and ice from the shed to the road and went for a little scoot. Had my son on the back so the one mile we went wasn't too long of a ride but man was it worth it. Time to put the battery on a trickle charge so I can get in a little alone time tomorow.
What a teez this is going to be knowing the cold will probably be back real soon.

I got out on Sunday too. It was real nice, spent a few hours in the morning putting heating elements and new grips on the bike. Those heated elements are worth every penny, two temps hot and SCORCHING.

The sun shine felt so good but the roads were real slick. Then I had to give her a warm sponge bath to rid the salt.

Took the bike out today for a little while and it was soooo sweet. Damn this cold weather and snow!
