The quest before VIR

Is to buy a 600. The KTM was a total blast at VIR and will be coming again for sure. But, riding there made me want a little more. Has anyone out there seen or have something for sale? Really am looking for a R6 but will consider just about anything for the right price. I was hoping to have this bike for track and street, but a strict track bike will be just fine. All winter to buy the other.
Have been checking craigslist daily to no avail, not much on there. Hoping to stay around the $3,000 mark but can go a little higher for the right bike. I'll owe ya some beers for the help!

Take your R1 to VIR.

Buy new knobbies for the KTM and whatever else needed to make it a quick swap from SM to dirt

Take the $3k (probably more like 4K) you want to spend on an R6 and get a designated track MOTARD

Something about tearing a nice 600 up just sounds o so good, I do see more KTM's in the future. I would take the R1 on VIR, It'll be down there so the the options there...And the R1 has cost me a small fortune, so i wont mind crashing a cheaper bike. Wait...what??

There was a CBR600RR race bike for sale at the last race weekend. Sitting across from the bathrooms with out it's bodywork on. The for sale sign said that it included painted bodywork. I'll check with someone to see if its still there.

i'll be looking to sell my 600rr once i put it back together. It's a 2003. Penske double in the rear. I have racetech springs that are not installed yet. Scott's Damper, Woodcraft rearsets, clipons, frame sliders. Body work needs a little help.
Before I sell it, I will be replacing the bent rearset bracket, the foot peg and the slider on the left side.
will be looking to get around 2800 for it.

Interested for sure. The crash resulted in just some comestic damage? Does it have a title? And from the sounds of the parts listed one can assum this is a strict track bike...

Cosmetic damage only. It has a NJ salvage title but it's in the previous owner's name still.
Track only.
It will not be at the track this wednesday.
Once I get it all back together I can get some pics up.
