i think.
so im looking into getting a wheelie machine and for price A i can get one, but they say i can only use it for personal/ non commercial use. but for price B i can be a distributor/vendor/operator and can use it to make $$$.
why cant i buy A and use it to make $$$? once i buy it its mine to use how ever i want isnt it? camera companies arent asking John Owens for $$ because he sells the pics he takes with their camera.
i just dont get. price A is the same machine just without all the dist/vendor/op stuff.
can someone explain?

Licensing, the same reason I can buy A DVD and watch but i can't charge people to come and watch it.
They must hold some public demonstration rights or something like that, So for price A you get the machine, For Price B you get an Assignment of Use of the license as well.
I would bet there is only 1 Companies making these,
A camera is a tool to Make something else, Owens controls the rights of usage and release to what he creates with his camera.
Or At least thats what I can gather.

I would find another machine if it's possible. Anytime you have to deal with licensing it's going to cost you.
durrr? wheelie machine

Buy it & charge people 100 bucks to watch me use it.... then let them use it for free![]()
