Anyone know how hard or expensive it would be to turn a 03 999 Mono into a Bi Posto?

Needs a subframe for sure. Beyond that I have no idea. Most people want to go the other way so parts may be easy to come by

seriously, if you want to do this you are barking up the wrong tree. I doubt (but could be wrong) anyone here has done it. Go to ducati.ms where its discussed regularly you can find parts list, pictures blah blah.

If you go to Ducati.ms use the search instead of starting a new thread about it. There has to be close to 100 threads about switching from bi to mono and mono to bi. One thing to watch out for is the wiring for the ECU, I'm pretty sure it is shorter on one of them but not sure exactly which one.

there is no point in using your ducati to pull chicks at pose night if you can't cart them home with you. than again...do 999s even pull chicks?

Ah...the problem with your theory is that Harleys do way better at pulling chicks who don't know any better. Chicks that do know better ride their own bikes....

...so, get a Harley or hook up with chicks that ride. (...and though I've been out of the game for so long that I still think Trojans are the only manufacturer of 'safes', I'm not so blind that I don't think chicks in leathers riding their own bikes are WAY hotter than most wide glide Harley chicks...)

Thanks for the help and I was just wondering for my decision making factors on a purchase. Apparently sompeople have a complex and are sensative about thier Ducati. I dont know maybe thier Ducati didn't hug them enough when they were younger?
