    I voted to rent an RSV4 because I ride an R1. For the heat just replace the CAT and wrap the replacement pipe and its not a problem.

    Question though, why an R1 or RSV4 and not an 1198? Are there more reasons than price? (I know you need the S model for the cool toys and Ohlins suspension).

    I think I like this color scheme best... why the hell does Europe get all the good looking bikes and we get the ones with freaking cherry metallic accents that look like you should be cruising the strip in Miami?

    I'd rather take the current R1 over the L.E.... you can always add suspension later, but you can't change that motor
