My R1 is bling blinging

Finished up the frame and swingarm, waiting to get the body work painted. New tires, brakes, chain and sprockets she feels like new again!

I remember when I had everything on my zx-7 polished: Frame, swing arm, forks, rotors, rims, rear sets, ect. It looks good, but I hope you have stock in Mothers polish to keep it looking like that.

Thanks guys and girls, I hear that If you use mothers wax after polishing it helps keep the dirty and grime off the shiney parts. Anyways I'm looking to buy some stock in mothers polish

It's ridiculously expensive but it's supposed to protect polished aluminum for up to 3 years.

Just think, with all that money you saved in landscaping, the polish is in the bag!!!

Wow thats stuff is pricey!!! Legalspeed those bastards have been dragging there feet I'm lucky enough to have them even come over and grade and top soil...I'm on the phone everyday asking when they are going to be done! Ssssshhhhh but I'm glad they are going slow this way my weekends stay free...Christine is coming back I'm out of here!

Whoa....How long did it take???? I would take a gander at some where aroud the late teens or early twentys....thats hours
That includes taking off and placing of the swing arm along with putting the chain and sprokets on which takes a gentle hand and guidance the last thing I wanted to do was put a huge scratch down the swing arm. Most of it was a winters project but then I moved and it turned into a summer project. Now I can ride.....N style

A few qustions if ya dont mind: What were the last 3 grades (grit) od sand papper didi you use?? Also do you sand it dry or wet??
