I need to get a race bike from Fort Montgomery, NY to Boston

My (not street legal) race bike is at a dealership in Fort Montgomery, NY.

I need to get it back to the Boston metro area in the next week or two.

Before I make the 8 hour round trip, I just wanted to throw it out there to see if anybody was headed that way with some extra room or anything like that...even if it meant getting the bike closer, but not all the way to Boston.

Willing to pay or otherwise work something out to make it worth somebody's while, although I don't think I could pay enough to make it worth somebody making the round trip for this reason alone.

They put it back together last fall.

Now my bike is down there, but I need to get cartridges installed and bodywork repaired before I go down to NJMP the 18th-19th.

An alternative would be to drop the forks and bodywork, have them shipped to me, and then I pick up the bike on the way down to NJMP, but that gets tricky.

Nothing against Rockwell specifically, but I'm not sure I want to pay Ducati dealership prices to get that work done.

Hmmm...just so happens my GF's family lives in Middlebury, and she might go down to go down to see them this weekend...if I give her a ride.

But with you having to borrow a trailer, sounds like it might be a bit of a PITA for you to swing anything like that, esp. by this weekend, no?

Hmmm.....that doesn't really work b/c I won't be going back to middlebury the week after.

Uhaul trailers are like $15 a day, which I'd have no problem covering, but with the time for you to rent a trailer, go to Rockwell, and meet with me, we're probably taking about an hour of your time plus a shitload of logistics to save me ~2 1/2 hours of my time.

I'll keep noodling on something but at this point something else would probably make more sense.

Just bring the parts with you and have markbuilt do it at the track in jersey. We spent a whole day swapping springs on my r6. I'm sure cartridges would be easy.
